Terms of service
What BookitUp is responsible for, what you agree to, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Last updated 29 August 2026
Pre-launch draft
BookitUp is not yet taking bookings. This page describes how the service is designed to work and is published so the terms are visible before anyone is asked to pay anything. It has not been through legal review and is not a contract. The binding version will be published before bookings open, and anyone on the waiting list will be told when it is.
1. Who these terms are with
BookitUp is operated by [REGISTERED ENTITY NAME], registered in Pakistan at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]("BookitUp", "we"). By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. What BookitUp does
BookitUp is a marketplace. You describe an occasion; we show vendors who are available for it, take a booking, and hold the advance until the vendor has delivered.
The service delivered on the day is the vendor's, not ours. The venue, the food, the decor and the photographs are supplied by that vendor under a contract between you and them. What we are responsible for is the booking: that the date and price were recorded accurately, that your money was held as described, and that a dispute is judged against the record.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over.
- The details you give us must be accurate — a booking made on a wrong date or guest count is not a platform fault.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
4. What a booking is
A booking becomes binding when you confirm it and the advance is received. At that point the scope, the date, the price and the cancellation window are written into the booking record, and neither side can quietly change them afterwards.
A shortlist is not a booking, and a quote is not a booking. Nothing is held for you until an advance is paid.
5. Payment
Fees, escrow and payout timing are set out on thepayments page, which forms part of these terms. In short: your advance is held rather than passed on, and released after delivery.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Set out in full on thecancellation and refunds page, which also forms part of these terms. The window that applies to a given booking is the one shown on that booking before you paid.
7. What vendors commit to
- To describe what they sell accurately, and to honour the price listed.
- Not to offer the same package cheaper elsewhere — the platform price is contractually their lowest.
- To keep their calendar honest, so an available date is genuinely available.
- To deliver the scope written into the booking.
A vendor who repeatedly cancels, misdescribes what they sell, or takes payment off-platform to avoid these terms can be removed.
8. Reviews
Reviews can only be left against a completed booking, so they come from people who actually paid. We remove reviews that are abusive, contain personal data, or are not about the booking. We do not remove a review for being negative, and a vendor cannot pay to have one taken down.
9. Using the service properly
You agree not to:
- Book fraudulently, or with a payment method that is not yours
- Take a booking off-platform to avoid fees, having found the vendor here
- Scrape, copy or resell listings and pricing
- Interfere with the service or try to break its security
10. Where our responsibility ends
Our liability for a booking is limited to the amounts you paid through BookitUp for it. We are not liable for a vendor's own performance beyond the refund and dispute remedies described above, nor for consequential losses — travel, accommodation or other arrangements made around an event.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Disputes
Raise a dispute from the booking and we will review it within five working days against the booking record. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of[CITY] have jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
We will give notice by email before a material change takes effect. Bookings already made are governed by the terms in force when they were made, not by a later version.
